The interactive screening is taking place on Friday, April 19 at 10:30 a.m. at Pathe Balekert for 1.5 hours. The event will consist of two sets of screenings, each lasting 25 minutes, featuring a total of 8 short films and 2 discussions lasting 15-20 minutes. These films aim to share heartwarming and inspiring stories with the audience and cover topics such as the reception of migrants at a hospital in Geneva, urban health management in Vernier, and access to HIV treatment for transgender people during the COVID pandemic.
The talks will focus on the topic of the right to health as part of the campaign launched by the World Health Organization for World Health Day on April 7. Experts will discuss social issues such as healthcare for migrants and gender equality, focusing on access to care for vulnerable populations. The event aims to engage students in health and social issues and encourage dialogue with health professionals in Geneva and WHO experts.
