NASA will host the Accelerated Earth Science Informatics event on June 13, 2024 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, VA. The main goal of this event is to facilitate the establishment of fruitful partnerships between developers of commercial data products and the scientific community. Participants will also explore innovative methods to improve the processing of both archived and real-time satellite data.
IT product developers with specialized skills in artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML), vehicle data processing, data exploration and analysis frameworks, collaborative knowledge generation, data visualization and other relevant tools are encouraged to apply to participate in the event. Similarly, scientists interested in using and contributing to the development of these analytical tools for Earth science applications – either in spacecraft or terrestrial environments – are also invited to participate in this collaborative effort.
