Nico Wiener, a rising star in archery, celebrated with a fist pump after securing a better 10 in his quarter-final tie-break against reigning World Cup archery champion Matthias Fullerton. The victory earned Wiener a place in the second men’s final four of his career. In the upcoming match, the huge Austrian will fight against Korea’s Young Jae-won, World Under-21 Champion Prijans and Nick Capers.

Wiener expressed his happiness and acknowledged the shooting challenge against Fullerton, who is considered the best at the moment. Despite admitting to a bit of luck in winning, Wiener credited his success to progress and dedication to the sport. Top-seeded Fullerton played strong throughout the competition, but finished in seventh place after a quarterfinal matchup with Wiener.
