An agreement was reached between the banking unions and the Bnl Bnp Paribas group, focusing on different aspects such as new employment opportunities, the activation of the solidarity fund and measures to support employment in the event of potential exits. By 2026, 908 exits are expected, and a maximum of 776 new entries are planned. Fisac Cgil sees this agreement as a positive step towards rebuilding quality relations with the company, emphasizing significant generational turnover and support for workers who are transitioning to retirement.

The agreement also includes improvements to social benefits, such as an increase in the value of the meal ticket to €8, higher contributions to the pension fund and the provision of meal vouchers for those who work remotely. Fabio coordinator in the Bnl Bnp Paribas group, Fabio Armeni, highlights the allocation of new economic resources for all workers, investing in complementary pensions for young people and solving the difficulties faced by those facing customer-facing roles.

Uilca National Secretary Mariangela Verga expresses satisfaction with the agreement, noting that the Solidarity Fund is used for voluntary departures to facilitate the balance of early retirements and new hires, especially in the commercial network. First Cisl also welcomes the positive atmosphere in union relations after years of tense discussions, looking forward to productive dialogue and collective bargaining for the group’s 2026 industrial plan.
