The annual Science of Cocktails fundraiser is set to take place this Thursday at Science World. The event will transform the venue into a cocktail laboratory with 30 cocktail stations curated by the city’s best bartenders. These bartenders will showcase their creativity and scientific knowledge through a variety of mixed drinks. Attendees will also enjoy paired appetizers, hands-on activities and live entertainment throughout the evening.
The purpose of the event is not only to provide a fun evening for guests, but also to raise funds for the Science World scholarship program. This program offers free access to underserved schools, allowing students and teachers to enjoy exhibits and learning opportunities in the world of science.
The adults-only event features an open bar, cocktail-based science activities, food and entertainment. VIP ticket holders will have access to early entry, a VIP lounge and premium cocktails. While enjoying a night of cocktails and fun, attendees support an important cause and help provide educational opportunities for children in British Columbia.
The Science of Cocktails 2024 will be held on April 11 starting at 7pm for VIP ticket holders and 8pm for general admission. The event will be held at Science World located at 1455 Quebec Street in Vancouver. Tickets range from $185 to $245 and can be purchased online.
