Waterbury-based Hubbard-Hall Inc. recently acquired Prosys Finishing Technology to expand its sheet metal product offering. The company is a supplier of specialty chemicals specifically designed for industrial manufacturing processes.
This acquisition not only expands Hubbard-Hall’s product offering, but also strengthens its commitment to providing full customer support, particularly in the Northeast sheeting market. The company said in an April 11 press release that through this acquisition it gained access to Prosys’ exclusive cleaning and finishing formulas.
As part of the acquisition, Hubbard-Hall will also become a distributor for Pavco, a well-known specialty plate supplier. The move was described as a “big win” by Hubbard-Hall CEO Molly Kellogg, who noted Pavco’s reputation for providing innovative plating chemistry and outstanding technical service.
Randy DiSano, former owner of Prosys, will join Hubbard-Hall as a senior product manager as a result of the acquisition. Kellogg praised DiSano for his customer-centric approach, describing him as knowledgeable, hard-working and always standing up for the customer. DiSano expressed confidence in Hubbard-Hall’s strong reputation and commitment to innovation, stating that they are the perfect partner to continue the Prossis legacy.
