- Dress: For her first-ever Met Gala, Kardashian was her then-husband Kanye West’s plus one. She was also pregnant with their daughter North and to show off her baby bump. The then TV personality wore a form-fitting floral dress designed by then Givenchy-designer Riccardo Tisci.

- Dress: The couple continued with another set of bold looks, except that year, they decided to complement one another with coordinated silver Balmain ensembles that couldn’t have been more on theme. For Kardashian, she sported a shiny high-slit gown that was meant to mimic a suit of armor, while West leveled up his ripped jeans and a white T-shirt with an embellished jacket created by the French luxury fashion house.

- Dress: Kardashian and her then-beau Pete Davidson made their debut as a couple at the Met Gala. However, all eyes were on her vintage Jean Louis dress, which was once worn by Marilyn Monroe for her performance at President John F. Kennedy’s birthday in 1962. To fully embody the history of the sparkly gown, Kardashian even completed her glam by dyeing her hair blond.

- Dress: To honor Lagerfeld, Kardashian wore a Schiaparelli creation adorned with a total of 50,000 pearls. It’s safe to say that the white jewels were the key feature of the look, and she complemented them with matching thin-strapped heeled sandals and a voluminous cape that added a new dimension to the dress.
