Nicole Kidman attended the official Emmy FYC event for her Amazon Prime Video series “Expats” at the Prime Experience on April 28 in Los Angeles. The actress was joined by other members of the cast and creative team and spoke on a panel after posing for photographs on the red carpet.

For the event, the Oscar-winning actress fashioned a piece courtesy of the Versace fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection. Kidman embraced the sheer trend with her look, which featured an entirely black sheer top, under which she wore a camisole with scalloped detailing. The piece also featured a white, ornately designed statement collar that matched the cuffs.

Running down the front of the top and adorned on the cuffs were bold gold buttons. The top button of the piece also featured dazzling, glittering detail that stood in contrast to the gold buttons. Kidman’s shiny blond hair was pulled back; save for a few wisps that framed her face. Her makeup was done in a classic way, with a soft lip finishing off the look.

Kidman’s Versace look was featured on the runway during Milan Fashion Week in February. Donatella Versace said of the fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection that she was thinking of “a rebel with a kind heart,” as noted in WWD’s review of the collection. Among the elements from the collection, power tailoring was featured throughout, with military-inspired maxi coats, boucle lady suits, sleek hourglass and casual equestrian moments.

Prior to the official Emmy FYC event for “Expats,” Kidman was honored as the 49th recipient of the AFI Life Achievement award at the Dolby Theatre on Saturday in Los Angeles. Kidman was dripping in gold for the occasion, wearing a glittering Balenciaga gown, which she accessorized with a gold Omega watch. Kidman was joined by her husband of 18 years, Keith Urban, and the couple’s two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.
Amazon Prime Video’s “Expats” is the miniseries adaptation of the book “The Expatriates” by Janice Y.K. Lee. The series follows the personal and professional lives of a tight-knit group of expatriates living in Hong Kong. “Expats” is helmed by Lulu Wang, and stars Kidman, Brian Tee and Sarayu Blue. It is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
