Thirteen prospects have confirmed their presence in the 2024 NFL Draft, which will take place on April 25. The event will be well represented by quarterbacks, with USC’s Caleb Williams, LSU’s Jaden Daniels and North Carolina’s Drake May expected to be in attendance. Williams is considered the top prospect and is projected to be the No. 1 pick for the Chicago Bears. This year’s draft will be held at Campus Martius Park and Hart Plaza in Detroit, marking the first time the NFL has hosted the event in Michigan. The previous year, the draft was held at the National World War I Museum in Kansas City and Memorial and Union Station, the largest venue in the draft’s 88-year history.
The group of confirmed players comes after a long list of invitees was announced in February. Among those in attendance was Michigan quarterback JJ McCarthy, who surprisingly decided to stay home despite rising draft stock. Missouri’s Darius Robinson, a first-team All-SEC linebacker, will also be in attendance. He was one of eight Missouri prospects to attend the NFL Scouting Combine this year, setting a school record. Robinson is among seven SEC players confirmed to attend the 2024 draft, the most of any conference this year.
The draft will begin with the first round on Thursday, followed by rounds 2-7 from April 26-27.
