Discover the joy of being in the presence of North American river otters, Peaches and Toosie, at MODS. The signature Breakfast with Our Otters event on April 13 at 9 a.m. offers guests an opportunity to interact with these playful creatures, along with the Life Sciences team. The event features a delicious breakfast spread, an otter talk, training, enrichment activities and a special appearance by Joey, the Museum’s otter mascot. Kids can also explore the wonders of the ocean at MODS’s newest exhibit, Voyage to the Deep – Underwater Adventures, which is on display until May 19.
Experience an interactive underwater exploration of the legendary Nautilus submarine with Captain Nemo in this exhibition created by the Australian National Maritime Museum and operated by Flying Fish. Visit MODS and immerse yourself in dynamic science exhibits that cover 150,000 square feet of space. Explore the outdoor science park and marvel at live animal collection while enjoying science shows and learning labs. Take a break for refreshments at our cafe or browse through our store before heading to our large atrium where you can see the gravity clock – one of only three in Florida!
The Breakfast with Our Otters program includes admission to the museum, IMAX® documentary and an original painting of an otter as well as cameras are welcome for this event which costs $75 per person and requires pre-registration at mods.org/otterbreakfast.
