The tenango, which even has the Guinness record for the largest in the world and represents the map of Mexico, measures 15.14 by 6.89 meters. It has a total of 103.76 square meters distributed in 50 sections of 25 canvases, each measuring 29.40 by 27.7 centimeters.

According to the technical sheet, it was embroidered by 1,247 artisans and drawn by 167 artists. Its planning took four months of work and, for its design, plus 21 days of embroidery and assembly.

Governor Omar Fayad liked it and said it should become hugehe told The Conference Norberta González, who had to create one of the panels of the largest tenango in the world.

Although the composition is the same as that made by Norberta González, some iconography of the animals changed; However, it is very similar to the meter-high tenango that the master craftsman made five years ago.

To make it, Norberta commented that she worked for three months and that the inspiration came from her son, Víctor Ortega González, who asked her to make a tenango for him with the composition of the map of Mexico and the animals and plants native to each region.

At 15 years old, Norberta González learned to make tenangos in her high school, where there was a sewing workshop. I liked it and I have been making tenangos for 50 years..
