Tom Brady, the only quarterback to secure seven Super Bowl rings, recently shared his prediction on which quarterback he believes will be the next to clinch his first championship title. Surprisingly, Brady’s pick wasn’t Lamar Jackson, the reigning league MVP, or Joe Burrow, who narrowly missed out on winning a ring in 2021.

Instead, Brady chose a former divisional rival who has consistently come close but hasn’t yet reached the pinnacle of a Super Bowl victory.

“I like Josh Allen a lot. I’d pick Josh,” Brady revealed on the DeepCut Podcast. “I like Josh a lot as a guy, as a leader. But, you know, he’s got to get past the Chiefs, and that’s hard, because Patrick’s incredible and the way he leads that team.”

Brady’s selection of Allen might not come as a shock to some, considering the camaraderie the two have developed off the field. Notably, Allen defeated Brady at this year’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Josh Allen’s Pursuit: Challenging the Dynasty, Embracing the Legacy

Similar to Brady’s illustrious career, Allen has showcased remarkable consistency on the field. Since 2019, his inaugural year as the Buffalo Bills’ starting quarterback, Allen has secured at least 10 wins per season. Over the past two years, he has maintained an impressive average of 4,385 passing yards, 34 touchdown passes, 618 rushing yards, and nine rushing touchdowns per season.

Despite Allen’s formidable skills, he faces a significant obstacle in overcoming Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs, akin to dominant NFL dynasties of previous decades, have clinched three Super Bowl victories within a five-year span, including a recent postseason victory over Allen’s Bills.

Despite the challenges posed by Mahomes and the Chiefs, Brady’s confidence in Allen’s abilities suggests he may soon join the ranks of first-time Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks.
