“Dear Roma fans, dear fans of all the teams, let us, in tomorrow’s derby, hear your chants from fans who encourage their teams with all their energy and enthusiasm. The writings and cartoons of hatred and racism do not win more and we all lose.” Noemi Di Segni, president of the Union of Italian Jewish Communities (Ucei), stated this to Adnkronos, thus launching an appeal to the fans in view of the Roma-Lazio derby which will be played tomorrow at the Olympic stadium just a few days after news and controversy about anti-Semitic stickers and chants. “More than our opponents, let’s kick together anti-Semitism and every form of distortion of sport”, underlines Di Segni.
