Fallout Games Sees A Rise In Frenzy as Amazon’s TV Show Captivates Audiences – OtakuKart

The publisher expressed gratitude to the over one million players who joined Fallout 76 in a single day and nearly five million across all Fallout games on the same day.

Following the release of Amazon’s Fallout TV show on April 10, player counts in numerous games in the Fallout series witnessed a notable increase.

The show received positive reviews, achieving a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 93% and an audience score of 88%. According to entertainment data provider Luminate (via Variety), viewers logged almost 2.5 billion minutes watched across the show’s eight episodes during the week ended April 18.

Amazon confirmed the return of the Fallout show for a second season last week. In addition to the rise in Fallout game sales post-show, player numbers were boosted by giveaways. Prime Gaming, included with an Amazon Prime subscription, offers members PC titles to keep and exclusive in-game content monthly. Fallout 76 is currently claimable on both PC and Xbox consoles for Prime members.

Furthermore, Amazon Prime members can access Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas for free for the next six months via its cloud gaming platform Luna. The entire Fallout franchise is also available to play via Xbox Game Pass.
